Possible level 3+ money making strategy

This might sound like a stupid waste of time.
Lets say you got to the G.E. and buy 200 clay for about 100ea. That would cost you 20k. So then you go to the water fountain by the Varrock east bank. In your inventory you should have 14 buckets and 14 hard clay. Go to the fountain and fill all the buckets then just wet all the clay by using the bucket of water with the hard clay.

Now once you have the 200 wet clay you take it back to the G.E. and sell for about 180ea. Once that sells you will have around 36k. 36k-20k=16k in profits. If you used a ghost mouse or a macro you could easily do 1k of these meaning you make nearly 90k.

Another possible idea is to get like 108 buckets and fill them all with water that way you can do 8 loads without refilling. Then just sit in the east bank and make your soft clay.


This may not be the fastest or most money but it is pretty easy.

This is a great guide to making some small cash. I recently found out about this, although i really just mined and banked clay. Also, if you need VERY cheap and VERY fast water, go to the gnomecopter field, there's a bank deposit box and a shop that sells buckets of water 1 click away form each other.

 

Great thanks for that. Mine is more of a non-mem method but im sure it would be aton faster for members. The gnomecopter feild thing is members right?

If you're a member, and you've started the Recipe for Disaster quest, you can go to the Lumbridge basement and use the Necromancer's chest (which functions as a Bank) and the nearby sink to fill your buckets 28 at a time. This is also useful for filling empty vials with water.

 

ya im sure there must be other things you can do this with. Like doing a simple manual task and reselling the new item.

 

I would rather make my 6gp per yew long bow.


But its still a nice way for noobs to make some cash.

 

mercanting something good is the best thing to do. look for items that are worth over 1m and have a 100k difrence between med and high

 

Not bad guide, Seen this method before though. I wouldn't suggest doing this if you have more than 100k though.

wow really? I honestly didn't steal it. I was trying to get crafting up on my noob skiller and just thought this might be an easy way to make a little cash. But yah if you have 100k or more just try merching

 

There are very few ideas that somebody else hasn't thought up, whether or not they've appeared in guide form. There are only a fixed number of things that can be done, and with hundreds of thousands of people playing, every one of them has probably been tried many times.

Oh yes I'm sorry for now replying earlier. The gnomecopter field is intended for f2p, to see what features are in members. So yes, it's available for f2p.

I don't like to Make money without getting any experience in Skills, Unless I'm PK'ing. But if I am going to, I prefer to buy eye of newt at the rune shop in sarim, and sell them to the GE for 108 GP, turning a 100GP profit per Eye of Newt. Or even Better, On a member, If you have done Tai Bow Wannai, You can buy Vials of water for 3gp each , and bank them at the bank wich is less than 50 squares away, then sell them for 180 GP at the GE. Pretty fast money, but you don't get any EXP from it, so why bother.
