How to teach your dog sit.

How many of you have a smart and talented dog that doesn't know any tricks? Well this simple guide will show you step by step of how to teach your dog the famous.. sit.
======================================

Supplies needed
-----------------------

• Dog
• money
• way of transportation (feet, car, bike, etc.)
• dry dog food/treats

Skills needed
-----------------------

• patience
• ability to talk

1.)
Grab some cash, and stick it in your pocket.







2.)
Walk down to a pet store and buy some dry dog food, or tasty dog treats. Personally, my favorite pet store is PetsMart. If you already have the food.. then (step 3)





3.)
Bring your dog into a wide, open space holding a handful of dog food.







4.)
Kneel down next to your dog, and say, "sit" loud and clear.







5.)
Gently nudge your dogs behind until he sits down.







6.)
Feed him one dry piece of food.







7.)
Continue doing that until your dog learns the amazing skill, sit!

Uhmm okay, don't know how to say this. 5/10, Good Pictures. But This is Pretty Simple, Basic Common Sense, but not bad.

Merchant, what can I do to make it better? Is the format OK?

 

It is good to know but its common sense, like of course you would know you make the dog sit and you give him a treat. Find out like a better way a faster way or something then it would be better You can do it!

 

It's alright. More detailed pictures and some centralizing of the pictures and text and you would be good..

I learned from my dog's trainer that you raise the food far back behind there head so they have to sit to see it behind them.

As said before me, basic guide, it's not something as you said, "Still good to know..", because it already is known!

If not using this guide, I can google search "Dog Obedience", and learn how to do this and than some, and more detailed I might add.

Took me just about 4 Beatings to get that to work! (JKz I'd never hit a doggy ).
