Banned for RWT

I bought 400m from RunescapeToday, didn't get straight amount of gp, after 3rd trade I was banned instanly while I was in-game.
So the question is, should I get a refund from them?

 

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it. That’s the risk of buying/selling gold.. Their task is to deliver, once they deliver the gp is no longer their responsibility.

 

I think this is unfair, got auto perma banned right after the trade. It's very dissapoiting situation.
Atleast they should use some proxies to deliver gold without extra high risk.As we all know, sellers from Venezuela got big problems with Jagex, when it comes to RWT.

 

When I used to buy gold, I genuinely avoided buying from Chinese, Venezuelan etc and they are the places it originated from and generated the most bans, I’ve had bans quashed for RWT appealing saying I was given l the gold by friends etc

 

I typically try to avoid multiple trades for gold buying/selling

Next time, you can maybe ask them:
- "Will the gold be given in one trade?"
- "Is the account members or F2P?"
- "Is it a level 3 account or high level?"

You can also stake transfer GP but there is a fee associated with that and much fewer buying options if you go that route

 

NEVER get multiple trades. That's how the companies F**K you. They take none of the risk by holding 50m at a time and make money RISK FREE. All the big companies do it, switch to a local discord seller and it'll be much safer. Make sure the seller is trusted.

 

Also, is this even fair? Jagex probably monitors these accounts, never banning them, and just banning the accounts they trade..?

 

I guess Jagex is banning accounts from both sides.So be aware to use this kind of service.
They just don't care about it, customers always lose in this situation for sure.I lost my money and I was banned, no refund also.
Sythe staff should make some limits for this type of service to prevent customer losses and stuff.

 

No limits should be imposed due to poor trading practices. You knew the risk you took when you decide to go against Jagex TOS.

That account was not flagged by Jagex for sure, I didn't transfer gold on this account, it was the first time.

 

Then by your logic we shouldn't allow you to purchase gold on this site anymore due to your accounts being flagged. You're considered a hazard to the gold sellers.

Who said that my accounts being flagged? This is the first time when I was insta banned for RWT.
By your logic if the buyer and seller making a mistake, the buyer is always wrong?
There were many multiple long trades (about 3-5min each) and bunch of 3lvl seller's mules, it may cause instant ban for the buyer too, now it's confirmed.

 

i don't think he should refund you because it's not really his fault, and you have to take these risks into account when trading. it's just bad luck honestly.
