Is it cheating or a real help in some cases? What do you think?

 

i believe editing and proof reading is real help, I belikeve having them write it fully is cheating.

 

I agree with previous reply, writing fully your academic work is always a cheating and it's bad for your studying because you get high marks in the end for the work which has no input from you. Students receive such tasks for improving their knowledge and skills, and using other works for your successful studying distorts all idea of good education. Besides there's always a risk that you'll be caught and then you'll need to say goodbye to your college/university, I don't think that such cheating is worth it.
On the other hand such services can be very helpful not only with writing research papers but also editing them and improving the general quality of your work as a result homeworkneeded.com . In my opinion for such tasks it's ok, especially if you need to make a really difficult essay and no one among your friends for example can help you with editing at least for style and vocabulary. Such services can be a compromise decision in case when you're really talented for the most amount of subjects but totally weak for some of them. It happens for example when a person is really good in literature and languages but very bad in math, and anyway you need to make tasks for this subject.

 

It’s cheating and it can be helpful. If anyone chooses to have someone else write their essay it’s defeating the purpose. School is made to make people stronger and be able to do hard work. In the long run having someone write an essay for you is a bad idea even if you’ll never write another essay.

I don't understand how this is even up for debate. If you pay somebody else to write your essay, you're cheating. What part of that is ambiguous?

 

Depends on what class it is for. And how essential it is.

It's cheating, but it's the good type of cheating.

 

It's both cheating and helpful. It's against school policy to have someone else do your work but it's likely to get you a better grade, especially if its a subject that you're not doing so great in.

Personally, the idea of using an essay writing service is not worth it because of the cost, risk, and lack of achievement but I do understand why some people choose to use it.

 

I think that a vast majority of people who avail such a service do so because they have real-life commitments they can't meet, such as having to work 2-3 jobs. Cheating. It is not hard to find eloquently written sample essays and are sometimes even provided if you are in school, and i would argue anyone who is saying it is helpful because it is a good example of how to correctly write is wrong. But then again, so does having rich parents who buy your way into college and falsify documents to make their kids seem more professional and adept than they really are. Rich people in the U.S. do this all the time. So, who really cares.
