What exacly is "gold farming"

Do the people who sell gold just play on ur account 24 hours a day kill stuff and picking up gold/items from ground?

 

Yep thats basically it. They use your account and get the amount of cash you ordered.

 

They raise your skills and get the money you ordered at the same time instead of merchanting and stuff.

 

They either perform some skill, use Bounty Hunter, or trade, depending on your level. What they do depends on who you use. Some kill and pick up loot, others perform skills that gain you levels, while some simply sit and pick flax.

 

depends which company u buy from, i have bought from many, some use the ge merchanting, others trade 3k every 15 mins, and others pick flax and stuff...

they sometimes macro or make good use of the many vulnerabilities jagex has in RWT.
