I used to hate this song. After a while it gets stuck on you. I personally love the music and arrangements for this song though. Video is pretty nice too.

I think its an amazing song, it kind of lets you know where he starts off at, and then progresses to a great dictator and eventually had enough power to end the world. then at the end the song lets you know where he started from.

    meaning anything is possible.

Well your close, when it starts off two friends choose different paths. One becomes a great dicator and goes mad with power. A dove symbolizes peace, and in the video a dove is shown getting eaten by an eagle, and a wall with a dove on it is smashed. So the the other friend makes a rebellion aganist him, the dicator realizes that he is corrupted after he kills his childhood friend.

Hmm werid, I like the back up instruemnts. They add effect to the song, and add effect to the story.

    Yea, same.

Yea, most people don't and I think that most people dislike it because they don't know the true meaning.

The trumpet solo in the middle pisses me off but the lyrics are damn good and "i can keep rhythm with no metronome" makes me laugh

If you like "Handlebars" you'll probably love (as I did) the new single, "Rise". It's a call-to-action anthem and probably one of the best of its type I've heard since Rage Against the Machine. And if that isn't politics enough for you, check out Johnny 5 talk about the importance of voting . This cat is no slouch, and his band kicks ass.
