(if this is rong place pleace move it thanks) Well one of my frends is working on a new forum and he asked me if i would like to be a partner with him the only thing is that i need to pay 55$ not to be a partner he said it costs 150$ to start the fourm well i dont know much about fourm so im woundring if hes trying to scam me i mean like if it really costs cash to start a fourm btw hes really good with the java and stuff like that so he can make a good forum but im not sure if its a scam or not if its not a scam should i do it it said that he has about 300 ppl that are gona sign up so should i?

 

It's rather iffy, I mean forums can definitely cost a bit and all. But I am not sure how he could basically pull 300 people out of his ass? I would either talk to him more about it or get someone to talk to him and get there perspective on the situation.

If you trust him enough,
and if you can verify that 300 members will sign up,
and at least 100+ will be active
then I say it is worth it.
Btw, yes it is coasty for forums (decent forum).

 

Forums Do Cost loads. But If you think hes Good, and trustworthy and he got proof he can bring those people i think you should do it. But it's your choice.

 

well he told me that he send a email that ppl keept sending that like ppl put in email that theres gona sign up ill put email later but thats ppl

 

It's up to you, but I think that if he was going to scam you he would try to get more.

 

i dunno, im pretty sure you could do it for less than that and still have a good forum, and who builds a forum based on java anyways?
