Where'd all the GE dice bots go?

Until very recently I could go to the GE and almost always find an automated dice host.

The one on my home world was muted one evening and after awhile either logged out or was banned. I world hopped for quite awhile trying to find a replacement with no success.

Has there been a sweep against these accounts or am I just unlucky with timezone etc (or is me only looking in P2P worlds the issue)?

Turned a decent profit with the one on my home world - but I suppose since others would work on different scripts I'd probably have to watch them for awhile before figuring them out.

 

Are the GE dice bots actually legit? Every now and again i'll throw a few 100k at them and i have never won lol.

 

I can't speak for all of them obviously but the one I played on in my home world paid out plenty of bets. The other evening I did a fair few wagers and all up was probably up about 2M by the time the bot was muted - small winnings but I was just alching and placing small bets when I felt it was the 'right time' if you know what I mean.

I never threw in more than a few hundred k at a time but I had seen it pay out mills to bigger betters (I had also seen it take mills from bigger betters that had a bad roll, obviously).

 

Scamming GE Dice bots have been mass sold, where at a certain bet level the dice will rig itself in favor of the host. Do yourself a favor and join any number of discord dicing clans found here: RuneScape Miscellaneous

 

I'd figure it was obvious that it's rigged to profit - but that's also something that makes it extremely easy to take advantage of for people that aren't just there to compulsively gamble

I think you're unlucky because I still see them all the time.

 

They're getting mass muted/banned instantly.

 

Yes, people have characters running dicing bots that will roll a "random" number 1-100 for 54x2. The programs are obviously designed to profit but they become predictable after awhile.

Interesting, I'll just have to hop more.

That's what I figured - I assumed there had been a crack down/sweep as I haven't seen any since our local one got muted and then later disappeared.

 

They are not predictable - you are not smarter than a script designed to give you a 46% chance to win MAX, and then a smaller chance when you bet more. If you think thats the case then come gamble vs me

 

Local dice bot came back for a shortwhile before getting muted again- maade about 500k in the short time because it is fairly predictable

 

What I know about dice bots:

Some dice bots are rigged in the sense that the owner of the bot will see the roll before it happens. This can be used to hustle people
who want to do big bets, by only trading them when you know they will lose, or toss them a win here and there.

Some dice bots are rigged in the sense that there will be X amount of wins per loss OR losses after X amount of gold.

Some dice bots are rigged in the sense it's 70% - 30% favor.

I would never do any high bets, you are likely to win a lower though bet though.

 

#2 is what I noticed/experienced/exploited with my home world's dice bot (which came back briefly today on a new account with a slightly diff name - managed to get another easy 400k ftw).

That is partially why I've stopped trading them when they get muted - although they still take and pay out bets while muted, I can't see the losses and wins so don't want to risk it.

I can make a bad call as to when to bet and lose - but when that happens I follow it up with a slightly larger bet immediately after (to get my loss back plus some profit) with great success.

 

I still see them in almost every world I'm in lol
