what is the dust used for?

 

It's a summoning second, for vampire bats I believe. Considering its a fairly low level and useless summon, this stuff sells pretty well.

I haven't checked out the prices recently though, but it should be around the same price.

Give them a shot. And if you take a few pieces of food, they really shouldn't hit you too much with lower defense.
