The worst way to die is knowing your death date, and how you die just tacks on the pain.

Well, this is a stupid thread indeed, most people when they die will not feel pain, some people are always like:

Truth is you would never feel it, already would have been dead, and for you who said drowning would be horrible, most people who die drowning most of the time never know its happening, and they feel no pain, they just well simply die.

Overall this is a pointless thread, but if I must go along with it, the worst way to die is in my opinion is in any way right now, because I have not done all I wanted to do yet in life, my alternate option would be dieing with my family with me.

Suffocating would suck.

 

Care to elaborate cause I do not understand, first off you can not die by holding your breath then passing out, you will start breathing again soon, only if you are down unable to let air into your body you will die, and you won't feel any pain or anything you will pass out and just not wake up.

So yeah, quite stupid in my opinion.

Someone holding a plastic bag over your head until you stop breathing, and I never said it would cause pain moron, the the reason why it would be the worse way to die IN MY OPINION is because your going to feel pain while your gasping for air and i'm sure it would make you shit your pants.

 

I think suffocation and drowning would be horrible.

 

Make me shit my pants would it? I am not a 10 year old, as I was dieing I am most sure that I could keep my bowels in order out of being able to do it for very many years without even trying?

No, you would not feel pain grasping for air, you would just push your throat and esophagus muscles a little exerted. As soon as you did this you would pass out, you will feel no pain, and if you did it would be for the fraction of a second before your brain shut you down.

Can you elaborate, I am quite curious why people think this... you will feel nothing, and I believe it would be a lot more peaceful that a lot of other ways of death.

Ok, hold your breath for as long as you can, tell me you don't feel any pain once you can't hold your breath any more.

 

See but here is the difference, when we are instantly being suffocated our minds react differently, one time when I almost drowned I fell under water in a wave and didn't even realize it because I was stunned and it happened to fast, I was still trying to naturally breathe, and I just consumed a lot of water and passed out until I got saved.

It is quite diffrent if you are doing it to yourself and you know it is going to happen.

Also pain is just a way of telling you that something is wrong, people can block out pain, ever seen someone take huge bats and someone bash them on they're chest till it breaks? They concentrate till they don't feel it.

I Think your forgetting emotions. A Drowning/suffocating person would be extremely frightened.

 

After giving this quite some thought and contemplation, I have narrowed it down to a few possibilities, from which I cannot decide what would be the worst. They are: Suffocation via Smothering, Drowning, Being Burned Alive, or Being beaten to death. Regardless, it's safe to say dying by any of these methods... woudn't tickle.
