Ever wonder if you unknowingly hated asians, disabled people, black people, gay people, any skin tone that isn't white, muslims, fat/skinny, or old people? Look no further! Some spoiled little shit made a quiz that will undoubtedly make you look like an asshole while patronizing you. Good thing they had the opportunity to go to such a nice school to be able to create such an eye-opening quiz.

In all seriousness I just took like 5 of these tests and I have to say what a load of fucking garbage. At first glance it seemed like a legitimate test from a legitimate site, but after taking 2 tests I was convinced that the people who designed this test are hyper-SJW patronizing fags. If every one of these tests didn't tell me that I was a douche, I might be more inclined to give it some credibility, but I'm pretty sure it's near impossible to "pass". (following the instructions at least)

Does ANYONE want to explain to me how this test isn't total shit? It's essentially a matching game where they keep changing the rules with the hopes of making you fuck up, and then it attributes those fuck-ups to your implicit bias towards X characteristic.

Everyone is biased. You can't stop that. These tests just show people their biases. I took one of them and I don't think it was patronizing. It's just a simple fact that you are biased and there is nothing you can do about it. SJW will shame you for being biased and pretend they are not and that's what makes the insufferable assholes that need to be purged from the earth, not the fact they you are biased. Accept that you are biased, try not to be and if anyone tries to shame you for it, tell them to bugger the fuck off and eat a dick.

 

The test itself isn't scientific; it has misleading interpretations, and it's trash. Doesn't it seem retarded that a harvard.edu website's personality test reaction game is supposed to be able to assess my mental biases? It's pseudoscientific at best and deceitful at worst, and I think it's another example of the regressive left invading pop social science and uninforming people.

The test teaches you behaviors and then changes them on you, supposedly to keep your reactions subconcious, but I think it's built to make you fail. Opinions on that?

 

I don't agree with your reaction. I think you are misinterpreting the goal of the site.

First of all, the test itself doesn't offer any interpretation of your results. It is simply to demonstrate the strength of stereotypes in your mind. It has nothing to do with whether or not you hate minorities. The interpretations of the scores are what is currently being researched, which you haven't helped since you chose to answer none of their following questions.

The reason they switch everything up on you is to prevent research bias. They don't want people to intentionally or otherwise act as if they don't act on stereotypes. And yes, almost everyone will demonstrate that they act on stereotypes; the test shows exactly how much you act on those stereotypes.

And yes, the research they are doing is definitely based on science. I understand that it's hard to understand how cognitive psychology and introspection are not based on science, but the research is very rigorous. Also, your statement about them having the opportunity to attend is nice school makes it seem like they're overly privileged, whether they were some black kid that got into an Ivy because their mother is a lesbian crackwhore or a rich white snob that got in by being the nephew of the uni President. I assure you that these people are very respectable; a lot of the researchers are post doctorates who are directors/professors of their respective universities. You don't get receive their statuses by being privileged.

 

The mess ups aren't what produces the results; it's the amount of time you take to select the category.

This test has nothing to do with "SJWs", whatever they may be. It tests for associations you create in your mind, nothing more. It's hard to associate Jefferson with good, and Trump with bad, and then suddenly switch. Once it switches, you can't rely on your gut impulses anymore, you have to think about each one. Unfortunately, when a test pressures you to react quickly, gut impulses take over.

This is basic human psychology, nothing more.

No, as I said above, it tests your emotional associations, then pressures you to make quick emotional associations in reverse (example, Trump is good, Jefferson is bad), even when you might not feel that way. Don't get emotionally carried away with rhetoric of the "regressive left/right" whatever your politics are. It's simply a shitty experiment that's equally shitty to liberals and conservatives.

@Shredderbeam is pretty much spot on. It's not about being right or not. They just test your impulses/emotional reactions and associations.

 

This seems interesting in the slightest. I was going to write a thesis on society as a whole without the constraints of religion but it would make too many assumptions as the idea I wanted to push was that "people are immoral at their core".
