    RuneScape: A pure's guide

Welcome to Gridsword's "RuneScape: A pure's guide". I will write about all the types of pures i have experience in. Apologies if the guide is a little short. It's my first training guide so enjoy!

    Tutorial Island

Yes! I know it is boring, but try to train your desired stats to 3 in the tutorial island. It is much easier than doing it when you've done the tutorial. You will be unable to die in the rat pits, and you can get as many arrows as you like by dropping your first set and talking to Vannaka, and repeating.

    Free to play

With the levels you gained from tutorial island (level 3 strength, 1 attack, defence, ranged, mage and prayer, and 1/3 everything else - Strength pure. 3 Ranged, 3 Defence etc, for range tanks. You get the picture) you should spawn for the first time in Lumbridge. A good way to start is going to the fishing tutor (south of Lumbridge) to fish some food. Then grab your axe, find the nearest tree, and make a fire, cooking the fish. Go north-west of Lumbridge and kill goblins and giant spiders until you reach level 10 in attack and strength, level 10 in mage (you will need to make some money first for runes) or level 10 in ranged.

[IMG] Then head over to the monestary near the ice mountain and kill monks until 15 attack and 20 strength, 20 ranged or 20 mage. You can talk to the monks and they will heal you, so you won't need food for this.

Here is the point where you make money in any way you so desire. Try to make around 10-30k gp.

So now you have 15 attack and 20 strength, 20 ranged or 20 mage. You are a pure, so don't train anything else yet unless you want to do some skilling to make money. (You could develop yourself into a rune/beserker/barrows pure later on if you like). So now get yourself some more food and start training at the Al-Kharid warriors in, you guessed it, Al-Kharid. They are fairly low level, but once you attack one of them, you will get teamed up on! "I'll help you with this infidel, brother!"

Here you can train to your heart's content. I suggest you train to levels 30 attack and level 40 strength, 40 ranged or 40 mage. Don't underestimate their level, you will get lots of experience from Al-Kharid Warriors.

When you hit 30 attack and 40 strength, 40 ranged or 40 mage, take a step up to Falador guards! (South entrance is always less crowded than the north). With 22hp each you will get 88 experience per kill.

You can train here until 40 attack and 50 strength, 50 ranged or 50 mage. Then if you're a strength pure go to the Grand Exchange in north-west Varrock and buy a shiny new rune scimitar! With this you can smack out all your hard hits! This would be a good time for ranged and mage pures to make as much cash as they can.

A good place to train now is in the Stronghold of Security tunnels,

Or alternatively the Stronghold of Safety dungeon

From here you should carry on training at the cockroaches in the Stronghold of Safety dungeon.

    Pay to play

You should make yourself a member when your skills are developed adequately, or if you're insanely stupid or rich.

Follow the steps above for free to play players until you are level 10 in your desired combat levels. Then head to Relleka and kill some rock crabs until level 40-50! Rock crabs are very good experience and low level. It's all good!

After training at rock crabs, you could start to train at the earth warriors (I am unable to get a picture as I need 15 agility to get into area) which give good drops and have lots of hp, so good experience! They are in Edgeville dungeon, past the monkey bars (15 agility needed)

From level 60-70 of your chosen level a good place to train even up to 99 is the Bandit camp. It is a good place to AFK-train (basically sit there being attacked) as long as you have a saradomin item or zamorak item wielded.

If you used this guide, good luck with your pure!

Nice, but it won't happen overnight, you need to have dedication, and maybe after a week or two, then your pure will be ready.

Not a bad guide for training a pure, you emphasise on the training alot, but theres more steps to a pure - Choosing a good name, a nice way to make money (unless you do some account interaction).
