Got a crap phone that can't play mp3's? Get midi ringtones!

Hello Sythe users! This is my first guide and the idea to make it came to me when I was trying to figure out how exactly to put Final Fantasy ringtones on my phone...so why not share it?

Guide Purpose-If you only have a shitty, prepaid phone that simply can't play mp3's as ringtones, here is how to get your favorite songs into .midi files and then send them to your phone to use as ringtones!

    First Step-2 Choices!
1-You can either google "(Song title/artist) midis" and you might be able to find already made midis of your favorite songs. A good website for .midi's is www.hamienet.com, I think they might even have some runescape ones. If you do this, skip to step 4.

2-Go to www.911tabs.com and search for either artist or song. The tab you find must be a Guitar Pro tab, which can be determined by looking here.

    -DOWNSIDES-
With choice one you might only find crappy .midis that don't sound like the actual song, or not at all.

With choice two, they might not have the song/artist you are looking for, or might not have a Guitar Pro tablature. The site is also focused on guitar tablatures, but they also have other instrument's tabs. Guitar Pro tabs can also be found on other websites, easily found through google.

Second Step-Go to www.Guitar-Pro.com and install and download the Guitar Pro 5 demo program.

Third Step-Start the program and click File>Open>"Find Your Tab"(.gp5, .gp4, .gp3). Don't be confused by all the options and buttons, you won't be using any of them.
Listen to the tablature by pressing the play button.

    If you like it, proceed.

    Export the .midi file.

Fourth Step-Go to http://www.davidpye.com/index.php?page=freewap or similiar free WAP uploading website. Upload the .midi and go to the URL that will be listed here.

Fifth Step-Open the Web Browser on your cellphone and enter the aforementioned URL and your download should begin automatically. The cost to do this will vary depending on the size of the file.

    EASIER SOLUTION!

    Buy a better phone.

    Hope this guide helped someone.

Hmm, my friend has a fucking 1990s phone that he still uses( don't know why). I am goign to tell him this so he can enjoy listening music in his crappy phone. Anyway, though this guide is sloppy, it is still beenficial and thoughtful. I rate 7/10.
