Charming.

I'd love some constructive criticism on this. I know this could be a lot better but I'd like to hear ways in which I can improve future signatures. I'd like it if this wasn't rated as it's not a piece I feel is complete enough to be rated.

Though the text is good and you have used your usual style which I like, this time it seems a little lack-for-detail, though the stock was already blurred I'd still say you need to add some kind of depth.

And enhance the "flame" he is holding.

Ok, This is nice but really lacks a few key elements. Add a light source. Get a 200px soft brush and brush around the focal or wherever you think looks good. Set that layer to 50% opacity on soft light. You can play around with these settings. You should enhance that little flame the robot is holding. Add some clipping masks it will make the tag look better.

I really like that shadow effect you added how did you do that?

 

try to blend the text with the render and try to blend the render with the BG and front.

 

Once I'd finished, I merged the layers and used the crop tool to make the canvas larger. I then just added a normal drop shadow from the blending options menu with the settings 7, 0, 7. (You'll know what I mean when you're in the dialog)

I used a clipping mask to get the colours for the text. By the way it turned out, I should've just used a gradient.

You don't want his CnC, he's a hypocrite who doesn't know what he's talking about and will only talk down your art.

Anyway, I think the flame in his palm should be enhanced and have a greater shine to it. The text could use some work, make it smaller to about the size of the text you have in your current sig. The black boarders around the sig is uneven, I think the sig would look good if you only put a boarder on the top and bottom portion of the sig and not the left and right.

 

You really need set your smudge strength down a bit, and, the left area has no flow whatsoever as it was smudged too hard.

 

bizcuits look at the stock. Verts didn't do much or maybe no smudging.

Yeah I didn't do a great deal of smudging really.

 

The text is good! But I would suggest blending it. And another background could make it cooler maybe?

It's not that good, always play with text and never put it in a corner try to make a vocal point with the text blended in it.

 

First of all, it does look really good. A bit more blending and you've got it mate!!

I really like this for some reason, i believe it is the robot, I really like your pieces they look very modern, and just look simple and nice, not overdone, just right.
