That sounds more like it's by the logic of psychopathology.

 

Psychopathology is a scientific discipline, not one based on logic such like mathematics.

I don't agree with what he's saying, I'm just exploring the logic he's using.

 

Well, at risk of getting caught up in details (maybe) not very relevant to the topic, I'd argue that there is a logic underlying psychopathology, albeit not the same as that of mathematics. And maybe that is what you were getting at

 

I was examining the logic being used by "no mercy". There's definitely a logic underlying medical science, but yeah definitely not the same lol.

 

Yes money is real.. To survive in this world you need to have money and work your ass for it, so that's real.

Interesting! What in life do you imagine is real, vs. what isn't real?

 

I'm referring to the "law of attraction", your spiritual beliefs etc. and how they shape the reality around you. So it starts in your imagination, then your imagination shapes your reality. (I worded that poorly)

this is just a mind fuck. i get what you mean. this can't be real because it's in your head. but than again what is real

i'm not even sure. i know that this FEELS real and i'll enjoy it for what i know it is. spending my time trying to figure out what it is will just deter me for enjoying it for what it is.

It's one of those unanswerable questions where perception holds a bigger deal.

For all we know, our brain is a computer, simulating the world. That is why there isn't a single person in the world that everyone likes and our brain can either tell us if we like the person or not, subconsciously, in an instant (0 1).

Then there are other theories. But in all in all, they're just theories.. Thus, our perception is ultimately what controls our philosophical sense of the world.
