Why I should be a User Educator
Hey community of sythe.org, I'm a 13 year old kid who lives in Canada. In my life I learn allot, and I love to share my information with the world on sythe.org because I believe that everyone else on sythe.org should read the information I love to provide them. My standards for my guides a high never drop I will allways keep them neat, well formated, no spelling errors and have pictures. Also as a user educator i will make a well proper guide every month and try to make guides that other users request.

Your application is very basic, short, and really doesn't seem that you took much time to work on it, don't forget, your application should look as neat as your guides!

i read the youtube one where he tells you how to get songs off of there (i already knew this, but its good for ppl who dont know) and i read the pickup girls one. ( ithought it was funny and well done.) He obviously worked pretty hard on these.

 

To be honest - I think your guides are kind of simple and very easy to do. Though, some do have quite a bit of detail.

Also, I think some have a nice layout, etc. But, altogether it's a no from me, sorry. Though I do wish you the best of luck! ^_^

Hey there, Here is my input on your guides;

Guide 1​

I'm not sure if you could even call this a guide, no offense. This was a Question and Answer period really. When your making a guide, try adding a title, index, sections, a bit of color, and overall paragraphs. Never do all Q and A on your guide. You definitely need SOME content, if any. 1/10.

Guide 2 ​

You should have edited your thread, and removed it, so typically there is no guide for this. 0/10.

Guide 3​

Unfortunately for you, I have been writing songs for a while, and this guide was horrible. To start off, your guide was how to write "Sheet music" not a song, because you can write a song without sheet music. Now, your guide lacked content big time, instead of saying ONE thing about what a Bridge is, for example, try elaborating, and get close to a paragraph on it. You should always try to make your guides, especially of a topic like this, as detailed as possible, which gives the reader a more in depth look at what you're trying to show / teach them. You did not deliver with this guide. Some of the pictures were Definitely not needed, and there is no point of adding pictures that aren't needed, there was no index, not the best colouring, and overall a poorly written guide. 3/10.

Guide 4​

I can start off by saying, before you write a guide, check to see if people have made it before. Because I have seen guides VERY similiar to this made over 5+ times. That alone, gets me turned off about the guide itself. There's no title within the thread, no index, no in depth conversation about the converter which I expected. Once again, add more DETAIL in your guides, as there is none in this one. And if you cannot add enough detail because the topic you chose dis-allows you to, then choose a new topic. A very mediocre guide. 3/10.

Guide 5​

This guide was once again very mediocre. It looks as though you did this much too fast, or you made it just for the sake of making a guide. There is absolutely no format. No sections, title, index, or anything. You pretty much just blabbed out 3-4 things to do with CDs, chucked on 3 pictures and called it a guide. A guide should be written in detail, and have paragraphs and an introduction on the subject. You really failed to impress me with this guide. 1/10.


I am going to be straight forward with you. I do not think you are ready to become a UE, my vote is No. If you want to improve, and potentially become a UE in the future I have listed below a few things you could improve on.


When you are writing a guide, write it as though the person you are writing it to has no idea whatsoever on the subject, also include an introduction on what the topic is incase someone does not know. This way, it gives the guide reader a more enlightened and detailed experience while reading your guide. There's no point in just writing a guide for the sake of it, it benefits no-one and is a waste of forum space.

When you are writing a guide, try to make a bit of a format, try adding a Title within the thread, an index, sectioning, and paragraphs. And by paragraphs, I mean in depth detail on the subject within your sections. Most of your guides you are just listing little details, and not using paragraphs.



Those are my suggestions to you, and if you write 5 new fresh guides, that you know are worothy of the UEs in the future, I will be sure to look at them again.
