First sig in a long time

So yeah I've been gone for a long time.

Here's something I just whipped up using a tut I saw on here. Thank you Decisive for creating the tutorial I used.

quite nice, use a simple text, and what are them black box things? they look very messy, i'd like to see the render not be purple.

 

That black smear is obscene, truly. Show original renders and so-forth so we can actually rate it.

 

The text is an awful position and whats with the
black rectangles, looks rather odd.

Heh!, I looked at the signature before seeing the words and thought the technique looked familiar. Then I looked at the words and say that it was my tutorial that you used lol. The text isn't that bad but you shouldn't worry too much about text because a lot of people tend to struggle with it.

 

Use a simpler text, and what are those black boxes for on the top and bottom. 7/10 though.

 

A little plain for my liking and the bars and text are killing me. There was this great tutorial on the placement of text in relation to the focal point however I don't remember were it was, I'll look for it.

Edit: Can't seem to find the tutorial but the short version of it is, when you place a grid over your sig

There are certain points were it intersects, circled in red, that are good spots for text(Also has to do with render placement). Or something of that liking *Looks around frantically for Vision Ex's help on this one*

Yeah.. I had a real problem with the text and the black boxes were attempts at like a border... Lol shouldn't have made them

The text is bad,and it's far away from focal,that means more distraction to the actual tag,the border is extremely bad,the colors are monotone,too much negative space,i don't really like the centered focal tags,so i suggest you make it next time on sides a bit,here take a look and read this guide about the rule of thirds(composition)
