2FA Removal

Hello,

Would like 2FA to be removed on my other account 'Dinosaur Pk' as I have a new phone and have recently come back to the RS community so will be using the forum again.

Gen told me to post in the correct section.

I know the e-mail and password, I just cannot confirm through 2FA.

As the IP you're posting from isn't an exact match with the IPs logged on your account, i'll need more information from you prior to removing the 2FA.

-Should your email contain your name, can you provide proof of this through a picture of your ID? You may hide all irrelevant information (this is hidden from the public)
-What are some of the other cities you've accessed your account at?

It wouldn’t let me reply here so here’s just adding my response to the thread here: 2FA Removal

My email used for both the account and donations: [redacted]

Original IP is my home [redacted]. Currently in [redacted]so not far it’s my uni accommodation. Can apply again next time I’m home to sort this as a last resort if need be.

I can mail my ID if needed as obviously my name is my email address. Will have to wait till morning as my girlfriend is asleep.

Originally used an iPhone 6s for my authenticator. It was attached to my discord account which has the name ‘Dino’ or ‘Aidan’ but also lost the authenticator for that so not very helpful!

My original donation was [redacted]. Can probably find transaction ID’s if I look back a bit, just would take a while as it was a fair amount of time ago now.

Tl;dr will mail a picture of my ID to whoever replies in the morning as proof it’s me. Probably easier for you guys.

please attach a picture of your ID should your email contain your name so we can expedite this 2FA removal. It will be hidden from the public. If you have proof of donation/date, please provide that if you do not want to post your ID.

I've disabled 2fa on your account. Be sure to re-enable 2fa on your account and keep the long code somewhere safe in case you find yourself locked out again - you can use this code once as a 2fa code entry so that you can log in and manually disable it yourself.
