Ferrets

Any Sythers have a ferret? I'm going to get a ferret in a few days, and I just want to make sure the info im using is coming from someone whose ferrets didn't die prematurely. Anyway I need to know what foods you use, how many hours a day you play with your ferret, if your ferret is a deep sleeper, what color your ferret is, etc.

I use to have several, all of them being black.

We kept them in a 5 story play land caged in area

I really just got it out whenever i felt like it haha, and it was pretty much like all day.

Just make sure there are no holes around to where it would get lost, and you should be fine

 

Ferrets are cute. And yeah, no holes should be around as they can get lost. TJ, ty for pointing that out.

The advice i give you on that is that don't put the ferret into a room that people will always walk through. A.k.a house guests. Like, do not put it in your living room, kitchen, etc.

We use to use this bedding that made a pine smell, and it kind of canceled it out.

Ferrets are great animals. They play a lot and sleep a lot. Like others have said try not to get them lost there adventurous.

I had 2 ferrets and they got lost, I think they ran away?.

I love ferrets. Although I''ve never had one as a pet, I have played with them at a pet store before. Make sure you don't use an aquarium, and you don't use cedar chips.

they dont catch disease off hunting, i've used mine for hunting for 2 years and they've always been healthy.
