    The Mediterranean - Weather Type?

    I've never been there. What is the weather like, also, should the weather in the game be related to what its really like over there, or not?

    I think there should be snow, ice-overs, rain, high heat, etc.

    Which will effects the players somehow...

    What do you guys think?

    I dont think it should be like what it is in real life, that would mean
    constant updating and everyone lives in different regions. Though I love
    the idea of different weathers, and times of day. I have always wanted
    to see how runescape would be at night. Weather and times of the day
    is a big hope on my list.

    Well, I don't mean what is constantly going on in real life. But actual things that you don't see if other games, like snow storms, etc. And you've got to have the right materials to get through it, warm clothes, etc. I could go on and on, but I hope you get where I'm going with it.

    Edit;

    And yes, I think day & night is a MUST. I'm tired of these games (like Runescape) that are always taking place during the day. Boring!

    it should just be like in the area of the game because if you are gonna do it the same as in rl and with a lot of people being in different areas it is gonna be a real mess , like you said ppl with thick coats if it snows , while on the other side of the world its summer so lets say at the same time ppl are walking around in swim shorts and bikinis its not right

    and it would be to much coding

    they weather should very in some places in the game like in towns it should rain and snow depending on season or holiday (like christmas) and players should be able to turn them off in the settings like if your at a swamp and theres fog (can block vision) people can turn it off or if there would be mountains in the game (snow) and u dont like it u can turn it off

    Montenegro, Croatia, Italy, Greece, ... is very forestlike, with extreme climates, for example in summer it is VERY hot and VERY sunny and in winter it's the opposite.
