Anyways Here is a new concept I was working on. A undead magic staff:

is the bow like wind up or something that you still need 2 "open it" to use it otherwise i have no clue why its 3 strings

 

It is based on modern day bow's. The power is much stronger how the strings are set up.

 

They're called compound bows. This ties into whether we're going for modern bows or medieval bows, or even bows at all.

 

Well I was under the impression that there would be different era's therefore different bow types.
