    i think that all items can be used by non members and members but then different places won't be aviliable to the non members which will get irratating which will make them buy members i think this is a good way to make members pay for the game they WILL love :D

    ya i think for skills say theres fishin members should get spot to fish right beside bank so faster to fish where non members bank is far away

    Yeah amazing idea but don't you agree that all items should be aviliable to non members + members :D

    we ARE members, members of the forum...

    Call it something else, besides that.. May be worth it (this will make the developers work more, and a better game)

    Ok there are three ways this game's combat system can go:

    1.
    runescape style: quick turn-based and very boring combat.

    2.
    fable (and many other rpg's) style: Speed of attack depends on your level, click/press button each time to attack once, and attacks vary in animation.

    3.
    Somewhat new style: During a battle you go completely first person. Click each time to attack, speed depends on level, animations are slightly varied, and press a button to use your shield/block with weapon whenever you want BUT what sets it apart from #2 you can cast a spell (that you set) by right clicking/pressing other button and when you hold a weapon the way you hold it depends on the weapon. ALSO JUST ADDED, i heard what kenny said and this would include combo's. to activate a combo a player would click again RIGHT after they finish their other attack, if you dont understand try playing pirates of the Caribbean online.

    I like runescape style combat, I dont like hit once wait for player to select a move, then you select a move, much like the Final Fantasy series.

    i really don't know but there is a thread like this one already but to answer the question i can't tell you. Runescape combat style gives people and challenge but your stats/armor affect the flow of combat.

    The 2nd style of combat sounds real good it makes the game new and exciting I really don't know which style of combat i want.

    I chose 3 because as you mentioned 1 is rather boring and seems endless when you are training. Also, Training would be 10 times harder and more boring if you had to click attack and option to attack each time as mentioned in 2.

    I like option 3 because it gives you variation and its not predictable as to when or how the other person is going to attack during PVP.

    Ya thats why i chose to make a 3rd option. cause i think it would set us apart from the rest. and darkgroove, seeing as the other thread didn't get migrated i created this.

    Well I was contemplating a idea on how to not be like all the other games and have something simple like mana. So i have an idea based on runescapes runes.
    Why not have the 4 elements air, earth,water,fire as a separate tab in your menu. Then to be able to use certain magic attacks you have to do some sort of task or skill to bring in the essence of that element. Then after certain amounts of each kind you can preform magic abilities.

    for instance. a small fire attack would take 4 essense of the fire energy. just a idea i have been pondering upon. Feel free to discuss.

    Well I not sure if I am posting this right. Saw that Sythe was developing a MMORPG and came up with an idea. Well I have played a few games where you could "Party up" with each other to fight monsters for experience. What I mean is you get shared experience and loot for killing monsters in your "Party". I am basing this mostly of the game Knights OnLine and the party system is great on there. This could work with pking. If you pk in groups you could share the loot ? (not sure if you pk someone it will drop items) or points for beating someone. If your in a party its obvious you will get less exp from monsters unlike soloing the monsters. Sorry if its bad or something I thought its a good idea from Knight OnLine you could change it up and add different effects or something to the system. But that is my idea hope you like it. Sorry if it's posted already.

    EDIT: I guess I forgot the poll, so if a mod could add that or something that would be nice thanks.
