2008 Olympics

Well, the 2008 Olympics is on channel 4 (US) At the moment, it's extremely awesome! Check it out! The beginning countdown was CRAZY! Right now they're doing an "ritual by Confucious". Crazy stuff, discuss if your watching! I will update throughout the day!

 

Should be a good year, this is the only time ive ever really
been interested in the Olypmics...it should be fun.

 

They spent 300 million today just on to set it all up.

 

I just watched that part when the people walk around and wave flags. The country Niger only had ONE ATHLETE. He was a swimmer. I just found out that Canada pays its athletes when they win medals.

 

I just saw it 20 minutes ago. The fireworks were awesome, and the last leg of the torch lighting was quite a unique idea.

Unless he died between when they walked around in the circle waving the flag? I just just saw this.

 

Does anyone know where I can find a schedule of when each event will be on the television? I don't want to miss the badminton!

 

Well china did a gr8 job and I also like the way they work cause every person participates such as to reduce the fog there is. This Olympics will turn into one of the gr8 ones.

 

Wasn't the opening ceremony fireworks digital? That's what I've been hearing

 

These seem to be the only Olympics I am a bit interested in...
