[GUIDE] Pranking your friends desktop

To start off, there are many versions of this guide.
These can be used to Auto Shutdown a computer or it can be the way I found out with a few friends on making a entirely different FAKE virus.
-MOD- Change name to: [GUIDE] Prank/Fake Desktop Virus

Requirements:
Computer [can't be a mac]​

1. Go on your friends computer, make sure your looking at their desktop.
Go ahead and create a new shortcut, which I believe is
Right click > New > Shortcut

2. When the window open ups type

The number next to 60 can be any number, its how long the virus screen will last. Once your done with that, go ahead and name your shortcut whatever you want most people far for it if you name it their internet browser.
(Internet Explorer, Safari, Mozilla Firefox)

3. To make it look a bit more real right click the shortcut and click properties at the bottom.

4. Click "change icon" a window will pop-up, click OK. If you chose
Internet Explorer for the name find the "E" Icon and click it.
Mozilla Firefox for the name find the "Fox" Icon and click it.

5. Delete their internet button and replace it with your fake virus internet button.

6. Now for some fun, when they go and use internet a window will pop up titled "System Shutdown" they can NOT exit out of this screen until the number you put in the coding (it's in seconds) goes to 0.

The only way to end this is to click Start > Run and type in

-Disclaimers- Me and my friends use to do this all the time to my brother and right now I use a Mac so I couldn't take screenshots of this.
Also, these guides are mostly on the internet on some sites I've seen. If you guys enjoyed this I'll make another guide explaining how to make it when they click it, it shuts down their computer

 

It would be nice, if it used a diffrent name than my guide, and if it had pictures.

Lol, what SuF said. Try asking a mod to change the name to the guide. When I saw this I thought "Ripped" but yeah, this is a good way to do it. I did it to my friend and it was like "Stop watching porn. Link" and he's like omfgleikhow?

+ Pictures would make this less confusing to people who don't know this.

If your doing this to yourself make the time low and don't let your parents see they might flip.

 

i cant get it to work i get the shortcut up but the "fake" virus wont work it wont start up (on my computer) if you could pm me and help me out that would be awsome!

 

You should explain what all of those little letters / words do .

Example :
-s / -c ~ What do these thingz do ? explain the arguments
