Duel Tournament Guide

Ok, ic3 bl1tz here with a In-Depth Guide To Duel Tournaments.

Minimal requirments to have ANY hope of winning this torunament are:

70+ attack

80+ strength

45+ defence unless you have 99 str, attack, range mage and prayer. Then you can have lower.

82+ mage

75+ range

52+ prayer (AT LEAST)

Any hp level, you cant really control that

Though even if you are a lvl 138 with steel titan, you can still be massacerd by somebody like kids ranqe or that gay elvemage.

Quests that would help you win

Recipie for disaster (Barrows gloves are pl0x)
Desert treasure (ancients, very helpful)
Lost city (DDp++ and d long for you noobs without a d scimym or whip)
Barbarian Assult Mini game (torso)
Fremennik Isles (Thanks to Tom jr for telling me) (Nezoits/zerker really helps)


1.0 Equiptment

Wearing: Helm Of neziots/Vercas Helm
Amulet:Fury
Body:dharkos/Vercas/Torso
Legs:dharkos/Vercas/Torags/Rune
Boots:dragon
Ring:Recoil
Cape:Fire
Gloves:Barrows/Dragon/Rune

1.1 Inventory

Full Blakc D'hide
Rune c'bow
150+Ruby And Diamond (e) Bolts
Super Set (Optional)
Sara Brew x4 (If you cant survive with sharks, which is quite sad.)
Super Restore x4 (Only for sara brews, though you can use as a replacment for prayer pot's)
100 Runes for ice blitz/barrage (hehe, love it)
Prayer Pot's x2 (Only if stats dont restore over fight's)
2 extra recoils.
rest sharks.

Make an inventory that fits you.



Weapon: The best weapon would be Armadyl God Sword, but a whip would do just as good. A sara sword is the gayest weapon out there, but will replace a whip. HIGHLEY UNSUGGESTED WEAPON.

1.2 Starting

So, your in the torunament, hopefully you have everything you will need. You will start with either a really good, or a really bad person. Since you dont want to waste anything, either use 1 ice blitz and then all your specials, or 1 ice blitz, pot (NOT Suggested Untill You Are ½ way thought tournament) and attack until dead. If your opponent is stronger than you or is just better, be a noob and ice blitz, run away, ice blitz again and so on. Now, you are half way through, hopefully still have all your sara brews (if your using), you will be fighting alot better people now. I would sugegst simply ice blitz and special 2/4 times. Even if there 5 defence levels higher than you are attack, with 90+ strength, you can easily max over a 60 with special. DD Could hit a 25-25, so thats still good.

1.3 Ending

So, you have about 6 people left. Now, I would have probably used range by now, but hopefully you have 75+ bolts left. I would save at least 50 for the final round. A good combo is 1 c'bow shot, an ice blitz and then your entire special bar. If you dont kill them right away, fall back and repeat without special. For the last guy, quickly blitz and use all but 10 of your bolts. if he isnt dead, fill out your special bar and fight 1v1. When he gets at 1/2 hp, c'bow/blitz/whip or gs should finish him.

1.4 Prayer

I would only use this for surviving untill the end. Really, with ice blitz, you will only need protect mage/range, and alot of people only use melle. So use smite in the last fight, Dont use protect melle unless your really getting killed, and if you have piety, ONLY USE IT WHEN YOUR PRAYER GETS RESTORED OVER ROUNDS. IT WILL RUN YOUR PRAYER POTS DRY.

1.5 What now?

Well, alot of tournaments can pay you up to 1m if you win, I dont know what ones do, usually the ones with no food or pots. But that money is only good for another few rounds, sara brews and diamond bolts really soak up the cash.

You can't really make any money out of duel tourney unless your a level 120+. Even if you did make money once you get into high ranks, It will be extremely hard to find people doing tournaments and even harder to beat them. They most likely have the best items, stats, and summoning.

 

That's why you should have an Armadyl God Sword..
