Sythe.org MMORPG?

i got any idea.. i think you should kinda make it like rs classic where you can duel anywhere and win someones items..then aswell add a wilderness so basically you dont need a staking arena or anything cause you can just duel wherever.. thatd be sweet

also you should make penalties if you x log cause (assuming this will be in client) cause it gets really annoying when your fighting they x log and then no one wins.

 

You can get some more cash after you make the mmorpg, you could sell gold to get ALOT of cash.

 

wouldnt runescape try to sue u and how mch will it cost?

i love this idea. but like a lot of people have already said, is there a pvp aspect? is it going to be realistic? such as containing an econemy? cpu characters? randoms? jobs? there is a lot to this but i really hope that it will go thro

It doesn't exactly have to be MMORPG. I think if sythe made an FPS server.. like BF2 or COD4 it'd have a lot of supporters. You could also make a WOW private server. I also hear diablo 3 is coming out so it'd be cool to base it off of that

Well this sounds like an awsome idea. The only 2 things that are mandatory in a MMORPG is no lag and a lot of players on at the same time. Second, I suggest you make characters that are in WoW and make a runescape feel experience. A GTA based MMORPG would be awsome, kind of like San Andreas Multiplayer, I love cops and robbers on that game. A possible Pimp, Drug, Prostitution, and Alcahol skills would be pretty awsome also lol, just a thought. Overall, this seems like an awsome idea and that it should be done.

 

What would be a good idea is to have like a human to start with. With more experience you can actually train yourself into certain groups. Like monk, warrior, ranger, mager, thief, quester, etc. But to put a twist on it what you could do is once you start training your self into a group suppose we do monk. Monk has a specialty of healing and many other stuff. But the downfall is that your unable to use harmful weapons. And you'll only be able to defend yourself in order to kill. (Unable to attack other players and npc first) However, if you do break the rules you will slowly untrain yourself from that group into another. like for example your a monk and start taking weapons and attacking others first you will slowly lose the ability of being a monk and train more into a warrior or whatever you call that class. This just could be the tip of an iceberg of all the possibilities you could do with this idea.

 

i love this idea. mixing runescape with ideas from blizard. runescape skill set like ranger mage or warrior, but with diff races that specialize in certain things and get bonuses for them when ur that certain race, but still allow u to be an elf thats a warrior or an orc thats a mage.

 

wut about the website itself? wont it be kinda, i dunno, bad that where this game started is from a cheating website?

 

this sounds totally awesome...you will steal all runescape's players and they will start playing this, cuz i guaruntee, this will be MUCH better than runescape!

 

So true... I mean why else would people play runescape! haha. All jokes aside this is a great idea and it would be big from the start, wich made me think after a while it could be on the shelves at WAL-MART! Of course, there would be ALOT of cheaters! :laugh:
