How to edit any website and make it designed how you want it to be.

Ok this is my guide on how to change and text on a website that you want.
You can use this guide to trick friends, make designs for how you think
the website should be, etc.

Step 1. Go to any website that you want to edit.. Such as Myspace,
or google, or even SYTHE.

Step 2. Right click anywhere on the website and choose "View page
source."

Step 3. After you clicked that you will be brought to this...


Step 5. What you do now is hit Control+f and find the words you want to edit......Such as "Login" or "Signup" etc etc...

Step 6. Go to a website that you have created.. For example.. A freewebs, or weebly, or even your own domain.

Step 7. Go to insert a new paragraph on your site and choose "Insert Custom HTML".

Step 8. Copy and paste the HTML info from myspace.com and paste it into the Custom HTML box.

Step 9. Now you can do "Control+F" to find any words or sentences that you want to change on the website.

Step 10. Once you've found the words you want to change.. Change them to whatever you want.


Step 11. Hit publish website then go to "Preview"


Step 12. If you've done everything correctly you will be able to see your changes.. Heres mine


As you can see this is a lot of fun to mess around with and i find it to be
very addicting. I made my parents think i hacked myspace and they were

You should tell people to make a freewebs account, since not all hosts have the same editor as them. Also this is very basic, and you could just do it on your own computer... No need for a webhost.

 

well the point of having free webs is so that you can send your friend the link to the site but in a hyper link so he wont know its a free webs and it will trick them.

But of course you would have to do a lot of editing on your site to make it look like a real myspace site.

 

could just steal the entire html code...

 

Pictures are way to big, size them down a bit.

Thought of something... this could be used as phishing... which is not nice...

 

no it cant because if you tried to log in it says an error trust me i made sure thast this is legal and is not against the rules

 

It can be used for phishing with a very simple edit of the code. Make the login form go to a php script. in the script it would get the user name and pass then write them to a .txt file... i could make one in about 3 minutes.


but, only people that know how to do that can make a phishing site, so the guide is fine cuz its for people that know nearly nothing.
