Small Cash Making Guide

This is a guide for those of you who have over 2 million runescape gp, and it is best for those over 10 million.

I am here to teach you of what is called "Investing" and "Flipping".

I'll start off with some terms commonly used.

Flipping: Quickly buying and reselling an item
Investing: Mostly longer term buying and selling of an item
Peak: When an item reaches the top price that it can before dropping
Bottoming: When an item is dropping and begins to drop more slowly just before it is going to rise
Manipulating: When a group, or one person controls most of an item's market


When deciding on whether to invest, or flip you should consider the Pro's and the Con's of each.

Investing is much, much riskier, but it can produce much larger profits.
Flipping is not very risky, but unless done well produces lower profits.



There are several ways to participate in "Flipping"
You can flip within the Grand Exchange updates, which consists of buying an item during times when there isn't much demand, and reselling when there is alot

You can also flip between two Grand Exchange updates, in which you buy an item that you believe will rise, but only for a few days and you wait until the Grand Exchange updates before you sell the item. NEVER BUY ITEMS THAT ARE PEAKING.

Investing can be done in THREE stages.

The first is short term investing, and it is what a lot of beginners do. You simply buy an item that you believe will rise, hold it for maybe 1-4 Grand Exchange updates, or until it shows signs of dropping. These signs will be that it doesn't rise as much as it has in the previous days, or it doesn't sell slightly above medium price. You should then resell for a profit.

The Second is Medium Term Investing, it is a good way of investors to make money once they have some knowledge.
In this method, you are looking for items that are currently "Bottoming", because you want to buy about 1 day before they stop dropping. At this point, items are easiest to buy, and can produce the most profit.
Don't worry if your item drops one more day, just make sure that it is dropping less than it had the previous days, this means it will start to rise again. Once you are sure your item is rising, hold it for 4-6 Grand Exchange updates, or until it begins to show signs of dropping. These signs will be that it doesn't rise as much as it has in the previous days, or it doesn't sell slightly above medium price.

The last method of investing is Long Term.
Personally, I don't like, or suggest this type of investing, but you can try it.
You buy an item that is rare, and guaranteed to rise in price. You quit buy this item, hold it for a month or more, and then sell. ONCE AGAIN, I DON'T REALLY SUGGEST THIS METHOD.

Ores
Wood

ITEMS NOT TO INVEST IN/ FLIP TODAY
Verac Skirt
Dharok Legs
Guthans Armour

thanx alot... although ive herd of your methods mentioned i have never really been able to make a fair amount of cash with the g.e, i much rather prefer god wars and soloing kbd. Mabe I should make a guide, but then again everyone knows about godwars and drags. Anyways i make about 10+M profit a week.. somtimes up to 50+M a week ( with a really really really good week) so if anyone wants tips on what to bring to godwars or what you should bring soloing high level monsters pm me.

Whatever is currently bottoming, or just starting to rise. I also get in on manipulated investments, sell early.

Only thing rares are good for is short term investing, and flipping.

 

I tried going on cellerdoor's clan chat but is it a chat or a clan? Also I'm getting like 500k a day flipping items (trust me you can literally flip 90% commonly bought items.). Thanks!

Nice guide... seems like a pretty good way to making some good cash on rs now.. I used to merchant but it's like way harder with the stupid trade restrictions.. anyways add some pics of like the g.e. or something and it would be a 9.5/10 but right now id say 8/10...

The 1337, join cellerdoor's chat during the day, there's some great ideas in there. I'm not aware of any investments right now, other than that guthans armour is being manipulated.

Chaos runes may be going up also.
