I got an infraction

Well, idc about the infraction so much.

Just that i did not know it.

So i suggest that every time you get an infraction, you should get a message telling you. I don't care if it's just a warning, or it is an infraction, but you need to notify us.

 

When infractions are given out, there is an option to give a PM alerting the user that they did, but you have to write it yourself, which I am guessing is the cause of almost no one ever getting one.

I thought there was some default alert-y thing whenever you received an infraction, like when you receive a PM.

 

There should be, on all the other forums i have been on there was at least. And i remember when i use to get em on here.

 

I got one before and I got PM'ed. But like cp said they probably can't be bothered to PM you

 

If i am not mistaking, all you have to do is enter words, then click send.

That of course is how my other site worked.

 

^^ that is how it works. But its too much work to personalize each message for every infraction given.

 

Just send a blank message then.

Idc if you tell me what i got the infraction for, because that shows up on the infraction page. I would just like to know when i receive one.

 

I totally agree. Earlier today I found out that I had one, and I would of really appreciated knowing... I think it's only fair to tell people, so that if a mistake has been made, they can dispute it fairly.

 

Yeah, i mean you don't have to put a personal message for everyone, at least put a series of dots or something, that way i know.

 

At least PM someone and write "infracted". That's all it takes.

 

Or just make it default to send even a blank titled "Infracted/Warned" so everyone knows. I never know, I just check every now and then.

Just put a series of periods also..that would work.

 

I have had about 6 or 7 infractions/warnings, only 1 time being pmed, If nothing people should be pmed about it so they know what they did wrong and don't repeat it.

 

I agree, I got infractions and doesn't even notice.

 

infractions are lame moderators abuse their powers.

I get pmed everytime I get a Infraction.

I got PMed the first 3 times, and Finn always PM's and so does sharderbeem.
