One account only!

I think people should be limited to 1 sythe account. It reduces the self vouches which equals less scamming.I know everyone doesn't abuse it, but I think It should be removed. Most people who scam and can't gain trust usually lean toward self vouching. So i suggest multiple accounts on 1 ip should be removed.

I think in the rules it says you can make another account if you misspelled it or something. The other account must not be used, and besides why would you want two accounts?

 

They wanan make to account so they can use 1 of the accounts to vouch the other called self vouching. Which is not permitted.

 

Just a hypothetical question, but...

What if i have an account and my sibiling does too, and we both use the same computer is that against the rules?

 

I think that you should be only allowed one account too. If you mess up on your name, then it's your own fault. If only there was a way to track how many accounts are made per IP when they are first created. I'm not sure if that's possible. I do know that Mods/Admins can check them after they've been created. Either way, it should be 1 account per IP.

No it isn't. I think somewhere it says you both can but if you guys vouch for each other you must put it somewhere that you know each other / are brothers. I'm sure I'm right but you'd want to double check. Also, if one of you ends up scamming, say bye to both your accounts.

Well there is a way sythe could make it happen only one account per household but it would involve security. When you first create an account you have to include your address and verify your phone number and show valid state id so that will cause less chance since if another scammer comes in it will be hard for him to become a member of sythe since he cant show the same information but it would be hard to use fake information since you have to verify your address.

Maybe you should re read what I said. I said there SHOULD be only 1 account per IP. That's what I would like to see, not that those are the rules. I answered that kid that its ok for him and his bro to have accounts on the same IP. No where did I say it was against the rules.

 

This is already in the Rules. But Sythe Staff lets you make a new account if you miss spelled something in your name.

Well its not that hard to find a self voucher. Look at a recent posted thread in the black market see if the topic starter logs out and the poster logs in you can tell by the time and could be suspicious.
