What song should I learn?

Simple. I've been playing gutiar for about a year, and i'm not that guy who tries to learn many many things. For example, I don't play my guitar everyday, but whenever I do pick it up, I will play random things/riffs. I do have a little trouble with switching chords to chords accurately. (<--don't think I emphasize on this though.)

It's a pretty sweet song, and it seems like a good practice for me.

Please do NOT post alternative songs. I don't listen to that, and I would appreciate to avoid those songs. I can go from rock such as metallica(their old music mind you, not their new...), to metal such as slipknot, to melodic death metal such as kalmah.

Try Scars of Wisdom by Eternal Tears of Sorrow. Or even Blood of Faith stains my Hand by the same band.

Kinda hard solo if you're inexperienced, but you'll get it eventually.

P.s. you should have named off some songs you can already do so we know how good you are, saying you played a year means nothing really there are people who take 10 years to learn some of the simplest songs and people who take a year before there shredding like a god.

That'd be just a tad difficult...I joke I joke, if he masters that...He shal be god.

 

The song isn't that difficult playing both parts would be though but thats because it's 2 different guitarists, to the kid who said learn aces high you're a idiot he wants a song he can actually do I highly doubt he can even attempt to play a song like aces high yet. He is asking for ideas not ridiculous songs he can't play.

But anyways, the problem is that I didn't actually learn any songs. The only part of one song I played was the beginning solo of One by Metallica, which is very easy to learn.

I have to look at some tabs, and test them out, and I could come back and tell you guys my status. Sometimes, its hard to find tabs for a certain song, and I get picky with songs.


Edit: Halo, Bed of razors, and Bathory - Father to Son(can't find the tabs for this though) sound like good songs to do.
