How can I be more "popular"?

Hey sythe, I don't really have anything else to do tonight, so I thought I'd get a little online advice from people who don't really know me.

Heres my current story. I've got more then a few friends, but I want more. Also, not many are girls, sure I can talk to them online just fine, but when it comes to me and close to any girl walking down the hallway, just us well, I don't have the courage or anything to talk to them.

Don't get me wrong, I have gotten a few blow-jobs and I've fingered a girl or two, but those are at summer camps where I just met the girls and in a few weeks, we end up fooling around.

I'm going into my Sophomore year in a school with about ~550-600 people. I play sports often, but I'm not in great shape.. I'm not the ugliest kid, I'm about 5'10 and weigh about 185 lbs. Not all of it is fat, I have decent sized arms, in muscle that is. My legs are fine from basketball, but my stomach isn't as flat as I'd like it to be, neither are my "love handles". I wear really preppy cloths as in loafers, polos, and dress shorts, the town I live in is quite wealthy, and just about everyone dresses that way.

Basically I'd like some tips and tricks on how to be "cool" with the ladies. I can engage in a great conversation online and with a few girls, in person. As of right now, heres how I'm meeting girls.

I'm adding a few girls from myspace that live in surrounding towns, most about 15-25 minutes away. I know it sounds dumb, but it's working so far, I've set myself up with about 4-5 possible suggestions for my new girlfriend. But.. My myspace pictures kind of "lie" I have a few photos of me, but somehow they make me look skinner then I really am. I've asked all of these girls if they'd like to hang out over AIM or MSN or myspace comments. All have said they'd love to, because I am so swift with my words online. I need to be able to do this in person as well though, or at least on the phone. Please teach me how, honestly.

I want to learn how to talk to girls better, and become more overall popular.
I'm not "afraid" to talk to girls, so please don't say I am, that'd just make me want to report your post, which I will gladly do.

Don't try to be macho. Sure, girls like a guy who is masculine, but they don't want a guy who only wants to talk about sports, blah blah.. You get what I'm saying.

what i would say is get to parties as often as u can. host a lot at ur house too. dont discriminate against who can come. make it open invitation. its bound to have a huge turnout if u really do have quite a few friends. hang out in groups but wander from group to group. so now that uve hung around with everybody ur bound to have a slightly wider range of friends. just keep doing this

 

Alright, well my mom would be glad to let me host a few parties, but I really know nothing about them as to shakaka, I am sweet, but I can't talk to them in person.

 

Think of it this way - would you want them to come up and talk to you? Yes.

They feel the same way, so you just have to go up and do it to them.

 

More then a few girls think I'm strange, mostly because I talk to them for hours on end online, and when I see them in person I say a mere "Hi" with my head down and walk quickly in the opposite direction.

Best way to talk to girls in my opinion is to be a bit cocky liek your to good for her (but dont say yur to good for her just act it) when yu start talkign to them be really confident atleast pretednd to be because girls liek confident guys. do not be insecure about yur weight girls love guys with muscular arms and try n be funny bag yurself out a lil bit and also at the same time be conident joke around with them stuff liek that

listen when she wants to say something
laugh even if she isnt funny
compliment her like "your hair looks good" trust me it might sound scliche but girls love it or "you like very pretty today"

do not say she is HOT because they dont liek that word

Rs nechryeal is right. I remember kids in middle school who were never popular turn popular by having parties and going to parties. Once you feel popular girls will sense it and it will probably become easier to talk to them.

 

You've just got to get the hang of it... practice talking to girls and making them laugh, eventually it's second nature and you can get girls easily as long as you're not too confident or not confident enough... just find the medium you'll get it.

 

Like I said before, my parents would be all for it, but IDK anything about it.

ALL YU NEED to have a party is
hide all the expensive shit in the house
make barriers to where peopel cannot go!!
hire a dj make sure he has strobe light his own speakers lights and all then make a pamphlet and photocopy it and hand it out to everyone telling them where the party is and what time and tell them to BYO alcohol
supply some snacks like chips loollies and shit but leave the rest up to the dj

make sure he plays good Party music like Trace Dance happy hardcore hardstyle House music all that music llike clubs play!

and make sure to invite all your regular mates

Just get some food, drinks, whatever, etc. and make sure its in a part of the house where chaperones cant get through easily! (Better yet, have no chaps if possible )

 

I know the type. And let me assure you that there's multiple girls who do this, too. It's not just you, so don't worry.

 

Lmfao you're in highschool and you don't know how to talk to girls? Man, just go up to them and just have a fun talking, act like it's a guy (never look at there boobs always there face hehe). Be nice and act mature, girls will be all over you. Also don't talk to a girl for more than an hour and a half on the computer haha or they will think you're addicted to the comp.

 

Be nice to the girl but be yourself.

Just relax and be cool about them. Being a little cocky is usually good. Talk with as many girls as you can, and at dances DANCE with as many as you can, don't be one of the guys that sits around most of the time, you gotta do some shit.

 

I'm considering having a party, but I want to wait until a few weeks of school are up, also, I can do the no chaperone thingy, that'd be easy.

 

Also bring some ugly girls too so the hotter girls get some kicks too
