My First Photoshop Signature

Nice first one, it's actually pretty decent for a first keep it up !

 

For your first sig, thats awesome! But a few things you need to do on all sigs...

Add a border. I use GIMP, not photoshop, so I have no idea how that works.
Make sure your text does not get on top of the render. It doesn't look right.
Blend the render into the background. I suck with this too, but it looks a lot better with blending.
Find some better text. I am not good at choosing text, but arial usually looks the best on any sig.

Don't listen to him. That sigs rocks for your first one. Now read on for some tutorials. That background is really good for your first sig. And I like the text because you didn't fuck it up with the blending modes like the most beginners do.

 

Oh SHIT. I am sorry, I used the wrong word... I did not mean add a background, I meant border. I fail when it comes to words. I type one thing when meaning another. Sorry.

Yeah, borders could be added. I usually add them to even my images : )

Oh and you can do this by adding a new layer, hitting ctrl+a and going to edit->stroke.

Correction, you do not need to add a border to ALL signatures. That is a commonly said phrase that isn't true.
