Is the American Depression coming?

The way our economy is now, I wish we never impeached Clinton even though he cheated on Hillary. Clinton is why George W Bush gained so much popularity because he made G H.W Bush look good when he was impeached.


So my question is, do you think it is coming soon?

Our economy is in shambles right now and it is just going to get worst. Is the depression coming? Yes the depression will come if we do not reduce dependence on foreign oil and other foreign commodities.

 

Many jobs are leaving America and going to China. If Americans don't do something, most of the population will be jobless.

 

I believe it's too soon for another depression. However, we are currently in a recession, which is a completely normal part of a healthy economy. We should just work on getting the right person into office, to improve our economic status. And this is not done by electing someone who refers to a non-existent border between Pakistan and Iraq.

 

Maybe, idk, there's a lot of poverty due to jobs from the US going to China.

 

Its going through a reccesion but I'd say the american deppression is far from near.

 

Depression will soon happen. All of the evidence is appearing, just like when the great depression happened.

 

I don't think you understand the meaning of depression. It is something that happened once and will most likely NEVER occur again, because our country made so many countless, careless mistakes that we were asking for a depression.

RECESSION is the word.

Seriously, all you people just listen to what CNN tells you (CNN is a liberal new channel, if you aren't aware). They say all the depression shit to rip on George, yet they also rip on him for not having more programs to help the needy. How does that work? They rip on him for not making our country enough money, then rip on him for not spending money we don't have.

 

I believe it won't just be America. All nations are so co-reliant that if America go many others will follow.

 

I myself think it COULD happen. Not saying it will not saying it won't.
But what I have heard is alot of people are pulling their money out of banks so if the market goes they will still have their money.

But what will cause the depression would be the end of oil.
That will send the world in a whirlwind for new energy, which will most likely take longer than anyone wants

Anyways we can't go into a depression because they made certain measures after the first one to make sure it doesn't happen again.

 

It cant come, after the first one, the government will do what they can to stop it

 

I don't watch the news, you can't trust any of it..

If I really feel I need to read the news I go to drudgereport.

 

i believe we will go into a depression eventually... due to the stock market fall.. people have tried to help our economy go up.. good thing.. however our government is more worried about other people in differnet countries rather than our country..

My reasoning:

There are interventions set up so there will be none.
DOW Jones went up 967 points or so, because the government invested 250billion dolars into 9 different banks, which helped.

And, Germany, Britain, etc are doing a similar action, which makes everyone trust in the banks more.

Increasing DOW Jones etc, which revives the market.

 

actually if the bailout plan didn't go threw we would of went into a depression..even though like for people in my neighborhood etc don't seem to be having money problems there is a serious increase in unemployment and if that number keeps climbing no one will getpaid unemployment and there for a chain reaction of no money...
