Reported scammer is Denied, why?

King Krab is a scammer! <- link to my report page

I supplied all the evidence yet my report was rejected. I lost 120$ from this scam. Can someone explain to me why this person was not banned?

The brief reason i was given before the Mod went MIA was that i was scammed by a third party user.

The thread originally had the posting with the discord link of JagexWeath#6767.
So the creator of the thread put that discord at some point.

After the scam had occurred, the user had edited his thread to change the discord contact to Crab#0001

If there was a "third party" in this scam. How was he able to take the exact discord name of JagexWeath#6767 and impersonate him? In addition, the creator of the thread, "king crab" was well prepared with all counter evidence to make a claim that it was not the discord he was using. This honestly seems like a scam set up to create an anonymous third party so the user will not take the blame and get banned.

 

You were scammed by a discord imposter, You need to get a PM from the user over Sythe, you got to be careful loads of imposter scamming happens atm.

Just be careful who you deal with I know it sucks! Did u use PP or anything like that?

 

This might be a longshot but if you didn't care about being banned from amazon (lol) you could probably charge back the payment sent there and you may get your money back and the prime would be revoked from the account. Good luck, this isn't advice im just handing out knowledge
