Poker Rules need helP!!!

The Flop is 9,Q,J,K,2. I got in my hand 10 and 3. Do i get a straight?

Seeing I got *10* and 9,Q,J,K is a 5 consecutive card that's a straight right?

Because my Dad got a 9 and 4 and he told me, That I need to play the 3 aswell to complete the Straight.

I need an answer and probably a link to the rules. Thanks, ASAP>

if you have the original box to the cards, then one of the unused cards other than joker should tell you the rules. Or google Poker Game Rules....

 

your dad is a lieing shit. and by the way, only the first three cards are called the flop. If you're including all 5 cards, you should say "the board" or something like that.

 

You DON"T need the 3, your supposed to make the BEST 5 CARDS with the hand that you have, and YOU DON'T have to to use ALL your cards.

 

Is there an confirmation to all of this? Because i just googled to "Poker Game Rules" But it didn't say I have to play all my cards.

Also, the final community card is called the river, and all cards together is called the board.

Also the 'flop' is the first three cards flipped over. Then you have the turn, and the last, fifth card is the river.
