It is the users responsibility to manage their own lives. If they use drugs without being aware of how harmful it is, then that's their own idiotic mistake.

 

^ True, like when I do something I read up about it first. I read the dosages, and what effects I'll feel.

I'm for it, in that people have every right to do whatever they want to their own body.

 

i completely agree, i hate it when my mom or dad tell me what i can and cannot do to my body, im 19 for christ sakes, let go of me. i do however would put a age limit on hard drugs, what u think?

 

In that case, why won't we allow people to drive drunk? I mean, it's their resposibility, not ours.

If you're 19, you're already allowed to do whatever you wish, unless you're living with your parents (their house, their rules ).

Ideally, I wouldn't support an age limit on hard drugs. However, to introduce them in the correct manner, I would.

There is a bit of a difference between doing drugs and driving drunk. When driving drunk, you are in no state of mind to safely pilot a huge piece of machinery down a street filled with people.

Although, in an ideal society, roads would be private, so their owners would be able to set their own rules about driving drunk.

 

I disagree, when doing drugs you're just as dangerous to other people around you, even if you're not trying to maneuver 2 tons of steel

 

Doing drugs is not the dangerous act. What is dangerous are the acts that may be performed while using those drugs.
