and he did get cash from the alchs you idiots, if you look in his inventory he had a 77m pile of money so all the cash from the alchs went into that 77m pile

when you alch something it doesn't start a new slot for a pile of money, it gets added to the current one in your inventory

 

it is somewhat sad
