Should I get a Tattoo?

Well I was wondering because my mom is actually letting me have one. So I was thinking what should I get. Also it's going to be in the upper arm. Not sure what to get. I'm 15, and need to know if I should get one or not.

I dont know your mum so dont take my assumption the wrong way, but I think she is letting you have one, so you will then realise you will chicken out or something like that...
anyway if she isnt I'd say upper arm, and nothing too tacky like dragons that they have on the cheap £3 shirts at the market, keep things plain and simple, maybe text?

Then again, 10 years from now tattoo removal would probably be extremely easy..

Anyway, I would say yes, go for it. I plan on getting one soon but I think its going to be on the right side of my ribcage.

 

Get something that's meaningful, not a girlfriends name or something pathetic, because you could regret it, get a date of someone who's died in your family or something meaningful. I say get one, BUT only if it MEANS SOMETHING. I currently have 2 tattoos. too

 

I'm also considering a small tatoo, but unfortunately I wouldn't be allowed one, which means I'd have to get it in a descreet area of my body, probably my ankel

I think I'm going to go with a star, as Its my favorite shape and it looks good as a tatoo...
If you want something to impress people, look at steev-o's tatoo and base it on that. If you had a similar tatoo you would be the centre of attention where ever you go lol (it would hurt like fuck)

 

There's no point in getting a tattoo if there isn't even anything that you want...

 

Right now I got "June 14, 2008" on my neck left side, and "Respect in cursive on my right forearm underside with Japanese symbol for Respect"

 

My first tattoo or when i get the money is going to be 440 on my wrist. 440 is the zip code were i grew up basically saying that i will never forget where i came from. That is something that will never change. My mom also will let me get a tattoo or piercing but i think that if you have to ask for others opines then you shouldn't get it. Just remember it will be there for all your life and its not something that you can just wash off. But if i were you i would get something cool maybe a design, I've always liked wings on the back.
