    Understanding the Game

Football, is an easy-to-play game, that most boys play, as well as females. The game itself, has an objective, WIN. The winner of the game, is decided via Points. There are two Major Levels of AMERICAN football, The NCAA and the NFL. NCAA is college ball, whileas in the NFL, matters risk your paycheck. Playing the Game of football, makes you healthier, makes you quicker, have better reflexes, and even improves your strength & stamina, but being injured in Football, can go anywhere from a Cramp, to an Snapped Neck, so padding is required!

    Offensive Goal

    Most people, will tell you that the object of the game is to win, well they're mostly correct, but the object of the game, is to never LOOSE yards, and always gain, aka WINNING the game. The offense is made up of ;
The Quaterback - Throws and Hands-off the Football , The HalfBack - Runs the football and Runs short passes , The Tight End - Is extra blocking for the offense, and always helps them by being able to run to catch the ball , The Tackle, Guards, and the Center - Are in charge, of making sure the QUATERBACK recieves the ball, upon the snap, and is secure long enough for the quaterback to make an pass/hand-off.

The goal of the offense is to score, so by doing so you're going to do eitheir Running the ball in, Passing the ball in, or kicking the ball in, eithier way - you're advancing!

    Defensive Goal

The defenses goal, is to stop the kick, intercept the pass, and tackle the ball-carrier. They're protecting their end zone, with their lives. The defense, is primarily big players, who weigh above 190 lbs, and can man-handle the average male, the key player of the defense is usually refered to as the "Safety", becuase he's basically the defense's last hope, if the Ball-Career breaks through the defensive line. Breaking through the defensive line = 20 cursing words by your defensive coach.

    How To Win

Winning the football game, is pretty much basic information. A new player to the game of football would understand that without being told, but It doesn't mean they know correctly HOW to win the game.

    Field Goal

An Field goal, is usually an attempted kick in order to keep points on the board, when the offense is Usually on the 4th down, and in Kicking range of the Goal-Post. Every Field goal scored is 3 points.

    Conversions + EP's

After an touchdown is made, the offense is then given the ability to score more points, by selecting eithier a Extra Point (worth 1 Bonus Point) where the offense has to kick about less then 20 yards - into an goal post , or an Conversion[/b] (worth 2 Bonus points) ; which is where the Offense has to RUN the ball into the end zone, as little as it may be - the possibility of getting into it without being tackled by the piled up defense is being an lunatic, but alot of "2-PTC's" , are made via this way!

    Extras

    Equipment

Most people, don't understand wha the football player must wear, but it's actually quite simple. The main things you should purchase, is an cup, a pair of clients, and a mouthpiece! Your football team should provide you with the rest of the gear.

    Exercising

No matter what position you are, you always run. So a good way of not affecting your weight/upper-body strength, but your agility, is running. The recommened amount of Running for a football player around the ages 11-15 is running 3.5 Miles an week (7 days..), so if you can, try to get those days in!!!

    Pasta

Most football players prefer to eat a bowl of pasta before an game, why? Because as I've been told by my previous coaches, it helps your stomach while playing - is this true? I don't know, it's just an suspicion that my coach led me on to believe. ^_^

Honestly, yea - pretty soon somebody will even cover the topic "How to make a kid cry and piss himself" guide.
It's hilarious, but it's really annoying when trying to think of guides, so ALOT of guides that were posted and is Archived, should be an topic allowed to write about ^_^.

Decent guide, seems like you put some work into it, which I respect.

Could have gone much deeper into the topic, as well I wish you would have.

    Could be better.
