A new way for the rep system [Read]

Ok, lol sorry im just posting what i posted on another thread, but im too lazy to edit it right now, maybe if more people respond, ill edit it to make it look more proffesional =/.

Lol, well i know it could be denied agin, but maybe there could be a post count req. Like, there would be a thread section, and to get in the section, you needed a certain amount of posts. So mainly all the + reps, could be mostly of trusted, sorta loyal members of sythe.

Like when you get on the section, theres just a list of names with a box next to their names, Theres 3 limits:

- You can only +1 rep someone, one time.
- After you give someone +1 rep, theres a time limmit on how long you can give someone else a rep.
- After you give someone rep, you have to write a paragraph for the reason of it.

And Mods can controll the Rep. Like if someone is caught spamming to get their post count up, and they give someone a +1 rep, the mod can go in, and take that +1 rep away.

That, is just like somethin I thought of to help out the search of a rep system, it maybe alittle complicated, but it should work, w/o a flaw =D

Why don't we just make a vouch counter and leave it at that?

 

Did you even fuckin read this shit? I have half the fuckin mind to report yo ass just for saying that shit, you say it on all the rep suggestions out there.

My idea has almost NO flaws in it, so gtfo tellin me it will be denied right off the bat BITCH.

And vouch counter? some people vouch people for fuckin doing tut. island, or fuckin buying a lv 3, that takes no trust, and doing account training like a lv 3 to a lv 10, Thats why.

The best vouch I got is I helped xfer 12M for a guy.

 

Because this isn't rune-server.org, we don't need an Rep system, vouch counters always worked fine, and you're not gangster ghetto and then flame somebody for an negative opinion on your topic. Let's see an admin/mod deny this and close the topic.

 

Exactly, then use the vouch. No one is going to click and see what type of rep you got, they will just go "Oh look he has 1000 rep so he's trusted!"

And stop flaming.

 

I rather stick to the vouch counter.

 

Keeping track of the 120k members and making sure that they aren't spamming and whatnot would be far too hard for the Administrators to keep track of. I don't think a rep system will ever be set up here so people should really stop trying to get it :-\

 

Umm Dont people do that with vouche? Like "Only going first to guru's with 10+ vouches?" So gtfo.

Ummm Viper (Negative Nelly) I was talking about having a post count req. to even give someone else rep. And the section is where people could give rep, not as a place where people could set up threads. And the 100 posts of spam, could be reported, its just a thought to keep it as legit as possible goddam.

Umm...and how many of those members do you think are active? like 2k members? and how many do you think acually do trades, cause this site is used for other things like user education, and some of those people dont trade anything at all.

There could be a certain group of people that could control the rep system, not every mod, and they wouldnt have to read fully through the paragraphs to comprehend it, its just a suggestion, to sum up the trade, and practicly, proof of transaction.

 

I just thought of this to help out the act of getting a rep system, stop sayin im like one of those noobs trying to get pking back on rs, its just a suggestion, and a good one at that.

Btw, can I get somethin positive about this? I mean, not EVERYTHING u say HAS to be negative u nubs.

Just Beacause someone has a low amount of post does not mean they cant be trusted. everyone started at 0. so be considerate
