Sexual Harassment at Work

So I gotta problem at work with a dude at work who I'm pretty sure is a closet gay guy invading my personal space constantly and always saying/whispering gay shit in my ear. At least 5 times a day for the past few months I've been told "fuck my ass" "eat my ass" etc, and the guy's trying to play it off as a joke even though I've never responded with anything but "no" or "fuck off." I have two theories, hes kind of an awkward fuck so either he says some outrageous gay shit because he thinks it's better than saying nothing, or hes just actually gay but too conservative/homophobic to come out so he uses these comments as like... a way of letting it out without actually letting it out. We also work in tight spaces often and hes always walking into me seemingly intentionally.

Anyways today I finally got sick of it and told him in front of a witness that this is sexual harassment and if he continues I'm going to fuck him up. I have no problems with the guy outside of the harassment and we're short on people currently so I don't want to just get him fired, but as a straight man I'm not gonna listen to another man asking me to fuck him in the ass every day at work.

So it seems to me I only have two options if he continues:
Fuck him up and risk losing my job
Or report him to someone higher up and risk his job... which would mean more unwanted hours for me

Does anyone have a third/better option?

 

you should report him to the higher up and if they don't do nothing do a police report and do a demand with a lawyer and enjoy your free millions

Tell him his cock wouldn’t touch the sides his breath stinks of shit and if he continues to harrass you, let him know he will regret not taking the chance and decide the punishment accordingly to his further actions from being warned.

 

Call his bluff and say outrageously gay shit back to him. Maybe he’s just a troll and likes seeing your reactions lol. If he likes it then you know forsure hes gay and actually sexually harrasing you. If he was a troll he might back off

 

The correct & only solution here would be (if you want to warn him) tell him that if he doesn't stop, you will be filing a proper report through your employer for sexual harassment.

Guy to guy, gay or not, joke or not, this is still sexual harassment and needs to be stopped.

Since you don't want the extra hours, I'd warn him. If it continues, report him. Employers don't automatically fire people for a sexual harassment report (unless it continues thereafter). Your job will replace him eventually anyway. Don't stay in an annoying, uncomfortable position because this guy is being inappropriate.

 

If you believe it's something you can sit down and discuss with him without it getting out of hand, go for it.

If not, go ahead and contact the higher-ups and make an anonymous complaint. For all anyone knows, someone could have witnessed him being inappropriate and reported it. I mean HOW could he accuse you, you guys are just good friends.

 

Honestly I doubt he would be fired right off the bat just from your complaint, so you shouldn't worry about it ruining his job and even if it did he deserves it. It would probably just end with a warning / write up for that guy.

Just talk to your boss and tell them to handle it because you are uncomfortable in your workplace

You could also tell the guy to stop with his bullshit one last time and tell him if it continues that you will go to the boss because it's messed up and stupid.
