You come home under the influence of drugs. In the morning your parents ask you why you took them. Here's the possible answers you give.

1) I was pressured into it by my friends.
2) Yeah I wanted to take it, it was amazing. Dad you should really try it!!

Exactly, people say it was peer pressure as a easy way out of a situation.

I think peer pressure, is basically your wants,gullibility, and persuation all put into one. You want something so bad, for example, to be popular, so you obviously are easily tricked into "getting popularity", and to be easily tricked, you need to be persuaded.

 

peer-pressure does exist to some extent but you need to be smart enough to turn something down like that

 

i don't think peer pressure is real i think it is everbody's choice. i only took weed when offered it once and that's a long stupid story. the last time i was offered a cig i said no

actually now that iv wrote all that im having a change of heart because the only reason i said no to the cig is because theres was another person there who i didn't want to see me smoke so is that another form of peer pressure

peer pressure is a load of bull crap... you have a choice.. you dont have to have friends.. you have a choice of who your friends are you dont need to be popular ... just b/c the people like you b/c you did something that doesnt mean they're your friends... so yeah.. peer pressure doesnt make you do anything i would know.. i dont drink.. i don't smoke... i don't do drugs.... i don't use tobacco products... i'm all clean
