Ok, I see your point. However, do you honestly think science makes more sense? So, you're saying - when you pray, you're going to ask for guidance,love,security, and sometimes needs, from Einstein? No, you're going to pray to god, because God is the utamate spirtual figure, and nobody can take my opinion from me, so I'm sticking by that. God in my eyes, exsists, and I'm not just saying that to take a side, or help boost somebodies opinion, but I'll agrue all of you, I believe god exsist, and everybody respects him, nobody will name their child "God, or Jesus", because Jesus and god aren't boosted. Jesus did part the red sea, and he is truly a spirtual figure, and he exsists, just as well as god does.

 

People doesn't necessarily need to pray in order to find peace and solicitude. Often, its more than enough with the support of friends, partners and family members. Alas, Einstein himself wasn't an Atheist.

There's a lot of people who name their children Jesus, it's a popular spanish and jewish name. In spanish it's pronounced "Hesus", but spelled the same way.

If you honestly believe that Jesus parted the red sea, and if you're going to present it as fact, you should at least back it up with a reliable source or a proper argument.

When the Bible says "Heaven", it's probably not referring to our heaven, the skies above our heads, but rather a different plane of existence.

No, there is an difference. You are saying, if there is an exsistance such as god, then when I ask for money in my pocket, why the hell doesn't it appear? You're acting as if Science is a religion. It isn't. Science is probably the reason you're alive. Science is the reason we can make advances to society. We're always discovering new things with Science. Science explains how most things we know happen. What we don't know is how the universe came to be - so we theorise, and these theories have a much more logical background than "God did it."

Now let's take a look at religion. Each religion is generally static; nothing is ever discovered, the only thing that changes is what the church wants to change. Once Science disproves something about Religion, or the masses disagree strongly with something about religion, it finds something else to restrict. Hundreds of years ago, being creative was pretty much banned because of religion. Galileo was trialed for herecy because he claimed the Earth revolved around the sun. At his trial, the chief prosecutor said this: "To claim that the Earth revolves around the Sun is as erronous as to claim that Jesus Christ was not born of a virgin." Obviously, the Earth does revolve around the sun, and we have substantial proof that it does.

This is what is called "The God of the Gaps." Once Science disproves something about religion, it finds something else to pick on. Nowadays it is homosexuality and gay marriage.

To believe in God without proof, this "faith," is simply a gamble I am not willing to take. What makes one religion more true than the others? What makes Islam false, but Christianity true? Likewise, the believers of Islam will say that every other religion is false. There has been religion since pre-history. Human beings wanted to try and explain what they simply could not, and thus there came this concept of an all-powerful creator.

Simple answer: You aren't.

Evolution takes thousands if not millions of years for things to happen. Scientists have only been monitoring them for merely a few hundred.

 

We are talking about very big thing . If there were any mistake in Evolution then it's wrong and it's full of weaknesses.

Now to get back on topic, if someone was to suggest the Big Bang Theory for the creation of this universe, instead of God, I would have to respond to that person and ask them, "Who caused the Big Bang?". They'd be speechless. And if they weren't speechless, they would make up a whole lot of shit they can't back up. Or they would simply reply to you in a question form, changing the subject. End of discussion for me.
