I vote no, it's not necessary. And even if it is, and if the user/passwords are used from the same usertable in the db, it would make cracking accounts here super easy.

 

Can't you have a particular msn verified, though?

 

Great idea. And for those who think it will be for scammers , are just plaing wrong there should be a 10$ charging fee and it should be available to everyone.

Ehh...no thanks. I currently only use my hotmail accounts as it is, and all this would do is open doors for scammers and trolls.

 

I would use it for sythe, since my old email is my spam email, and my clan email might be banned soon since all the leaders hate me

It would only work if mods/admins created the accounts, users should not be able to create their accounts at free will, seeing as scammers would make multiple accounts.

I personally voted no, because i dont want to change my email, as i've got to many ppl on it and they all know me from that email.

But for other ppl who don't mind making a new account, you would have to make something so that you can copy you list of contacts from your previous email to the new sythe email, so that you can have all your friend again without having to add them one by one.

This would also help advertise sythe.org, as people will ask questions about it, once they see you have an email of it.

But for me its a no.

You should automatically be assigned "(your username)@sythe.org"

Still though, I'm happy with hotmail and think this un-necessary.

 

I think it will only take more time and make more problem. It won't be useful at anything . We already had emails. What is the point from it.

I would use a sythe e-mail, but more scammers may try and impersonate.

 

If you make the email only available to certain users: people with a certain amount of posts/people who have been here since a certain date/people who eat admin's ass.

It'd be easier for MMers, because if I'm using [email protected], nobody can make [email protected] unless they meet the requirements. And even then if a mod sees someone suspicious with that username they can automatically ban it. Same with mods/admins.
