Here is my guide on how to get free ringtones. It doesn't matter which cell phone service you have.

Requirements:
1. A cell phone.
2. The ability to receive picture messages
3. A good song in mind.

Step 1:

Go HERE.

Step 2:

Sign up.



Step 3:

Choose account type; I chose Personal Account.



Step 4:

Fill out the form accordingly, and hit 'Create Account'



Step 5:

Next, find the type of phone you have, and select it, and hit Continue.

Step 6:

Verify your email and cell phone.

Step 7:

Once verified, sign in if not signed in already.

Step 8:

Find whatever song you like, by using the search bar:



Step 9:

Select a song that looks appropriate, and make sure that it's free.



Step 10:

Customize if you wish. You can choose any part of the song you would like to have as your ringtone.



Step 11:

Now, just send to your phone! Wait for the picture message, and you should be able to save the sound as a ringtone.

Voila! Enjoy.

Couple of things, Is this actually legal as in it is not piracy or anything? And are certain songs free or all songs that are on their database free?

 

This is a good guide, yeah, providing it's legal. I already break enough laws as it is, don't wanna be tracked down this easily.

Have you read all of the fine print and made sure that there are no monthly charges? Btw, you still have to pay for the text message.

 

Of course you must pay for the picture message, but if it's included in your package on your phone plan, then you should be okay. There are absolutely no monthly charges. I have used this website multiple times and have never been charged.

Completely legal.

Firstly, it is completely legal. And secondly, it depends which song you choose. If it's not free, it will clearly say there is a charge. If there is a song you must pay for, then I'm pretty sure you can find the same song somewhere else on the website for free.

 

I don't have to pay horrible prices anymore for lame subscriptions....yay
