^^yeah, add a bit more color, and blend in your render to the background. You are improving a bit though.

Yeah, shouldn't have added that gradient map...

Also, I tried to blend the render, but it didn't work too well... Any tips?

Tutorials strictly on render blending. There's not only 1 way to blend.

The signature lacks blending, the background is just ew, lacks effects, and has very little depth. Also, I just have a personal distaste for signatures with the render scrunched up on the side. To help fix the depth issues, you are going to need some lighting. Overlapping the render is also a good way to get some depth. I suggest adding lighting to the right of his head.

I SUCK at blending. I think I figured out why, but it will have to wait for my next sig.

I was experiementing with the background (using clouds and few filters on it) so yeah, I would say it is bad too.

Effects? What kind of effects do you mean?

I have never tried lighting before. Guess that will have to wait til my next sig, also.

I have 3 render layers. I tried blending but failed miserably.

You've go to experiment with brushing and smudging your render. Dupe your render a few times, then smudge the lowest dupe with a chalky brush. Repeat and delete until your render blends in and looks good. Also add a light source, get a white 100px soft brush and add a light source. Set that layer to soft light - right click the layer/blending options.

I actually do remember adding light to an older signature. Guess it slipped my mind... *slaps self in face*

Yeah.. Lighting is pretty much a must have. Also, if you are having problems blending, go look up the color wheel and make your background complimentary to your render.
