Hello, I'm pretty new - and i'd like you guys to get to know me, so I'm going to present my point of view on Graffiti, and I hope you'll notice the intellectual point of view of my posts.

Ok, so I hope you see my point of view. Graffiti, is truly an art, that takes time(watchin' out for the cops ) ! If you can manage to read & write Graffiti, you know you have talent, and by read and write, I mean the first five pictures ^_^ .

Graffiti is an art form, I had to do graffiti in art class and it was definitely more difficult than it looked.

 

Thank you. Giddy, graffiti is EXTREMELY difficult, it'd take you about 3+ Years just to do the 2nd picture. Quite hard, because graffiti is the ability to WRITE graffiti, and DRAW graffiti. So you're trying to draw a picture and write at the same time, without screwing up.

 

There's already a thread like this. But anyways I LOVE GRAFFITI. The time they put into it, and the risk they take.

I love graffiti, been doing it for many years now only piecing, or witty stencils.
Also the film "Quality Of Life/Against The Wall" Is a good watch for anybody interested in graffiti, or look at the work of 'Tracy 168' who was the main NYC old schooler, I'm also selling spray art for anybody whos interested!

 

Massacre, have you seen the Movie "style wars"? I know SEEN is an NYC legend as well..
