How old is the universe?

the age of the earth and the age of the universe are 2 different things.

The age of the earth is scientifically accepted as 4.55 billion years (plus or minus about 1%).

And shakaka, the age of the earth is unrelated to the age of the universe, meaning that the statement of "the universe is billions of years old" still stands as an excepted statement.

 

Its the same concept with the universer tho we will never find out b/c noone was there to document it and noone ever will be.

 

Open up your science book and go to the Index and search for the Big Bang theory. It's the most logical Idea on how old the Universe is, and how it became

 

Why dont you open a bible and read how it was created?

im not saying the bible is real what im saying is basically you have to make a choice and believe which side you want to.. You will never know how old the universe is all you can do is guess.. so you basically use your knowledge to pick wether or wether not you want to believe in god or not.. its up to you... but you cant tell me when the universe was created b/c you really have no proof to back it up so really you have to pick a side and go with it :/

Also, there is lost of evidence supporting the big bang theory, we just cannot prove it like we cannot prove gravity. as for the "god" concept, there is absolutely nothing supporting it, therefore it shouldnt even be considered.

 

Ok but there is nothing supporting the big bang theory besides wut you can call "disciples" of the big bang theory , the same thing supporting the theory of God

 

The earth has no age, if it did it would be to great to be numbered.

The "Earth" is an estimated 4.7B years old, and this is not a theory. Earth and universe are very different things.

are you serious? go to a library and see the books apon books you can read up supporting the big bang theory. You can see the effects from the big bang today when you look deap into space we are seeing it as it was billions of years ago.

There is alot of math that supports the big bang theory aswell, unlike god, there is none.

Do your research before making such statements.
