So getting drunk is fun? If you have to get drunk to have fun, then there is something wrong with you in my opinion.

 

Oh, it's fun drinking and driving? Then killing people in accdients due to drunk drivers must be AMUSING to you.

it definitly does exist, im pressured to sneak out almost every night, and i have to think of a new excurse every night, i got caught drinking last summer and was grounded for 4 months. i dont want that happeneing again

 

I think peer pressure exists. Like when my friends are like, "Blake, you gotta get this video games, come on man!" I'll be like, "no, no" But in the end I end up getting the game because my friends get me to get it. Peer pressure!!!! AHHH!!!

Yeah I have friends so I experienced it. (I'm talkign about that one guy a few posts up)

 

I agree with grid. Peer pressure only exists for the weak of mind.

 

Well I agree with ya mate. Well that is why we should be persistent. I hate people who pressure me. Why does peer pressure exists lol? I feel like "deleting" it somehow. Anyway, I gotta buy alcohol drinks for me friends AGAIN, though I quit drinking them. This is why peer pressure exists and affect people lives!

i will have no problem resisting those even when my parents say its ok for me to take a sip on a holiday.

I mostly hang out with my best friends and if they try to peer pressure me and I say no it's not like I lose friendship or get made fun of, but it normally happens when someone popular you don't really know does it and you're rep. is on the line, yes it does happen. I also have a friend that does weed and he offered one time and I said no and he didn't make fun of me or anything. Television or D.A.R.E. normally tell you that it's common, but it's not, if you deny an offer to drugs you wouldn't get made fun of, what usually happens is that the person says "Oh, okay" and doesn't really care.

And whoever said being drunk is fun doesn't know what being drunk is. It's not being in control of your body and once you're not drunk anymore you have NO idea what you just did, you can't have fun while you're doing something you don't know you're doing.

 

Yeah, like in health class last year, every time we would talk about drugs and alcohol peer pressure would be brought up..i was like..ugh

 

Peer pressure exist depending on how smart the person truely is. If the person was smart he/she would know that if something is harmfull to them they shouldnt excercise doing it.

 

Of course it exists, but it doesn't mean that people should give into it - people with stronger will still 'feel' that pressure, they just -choose- to ignore it.

 

Yeah, I have been peer pressured into starting a food fight one time when I was young and it worked lol, but that's because I was peer pressured into doing something fun, nothing 'cool' or bad for you.

 

So I smoked weed once that makes me week minded?

 

Just last night some random guy asked me if I want some weed but I said no as I had no cash on me. Peer pressure does exist because at first you think drugs are so scary but then once you see others doing it you understand that they aren't as bad as adults want you to think and you get pulled into them.

I intend to try to walk away from it. But if I can't walk away from it, then I intend to face it. No matter what your gonna face it. It really all depends how you handle it. If your just some little kid and some older guy offers you something such ass weed, that kid is most likely going to say no but he will give in to the pressure. Those who are older will think more about it, and if it's a friend who offers it then most likely he will take it. The pressure got to him.

WTF?!?! i said NOTHING about drink driving, dont go putting words in my mouth you douche bag. And no its not amusing. Dont be a tool and take everything someone says to the extreme, theres nothing wrong with drinking alcohol, but did i say anything about driving? no, so you shut the fuck up.
